Defending Macedonian handball champions Pelister earned a valuable point on the road, drawing 33-33 with Alkaloid at Avtokomanda after Hosni struck in the final seconds to level the match.
Alkaloid opened the game strongly, taking a 6-4 lead early on, and carried that momentum into the break, closing the first half 15-14 in their favor. The hosts then pushed their advantage to four goals in the second period, putting Pelister firmly on the back foot with the clock running down.
A Late Rally
Rather than fold under the deficit, Pelister mounted a determined comeback in the closing minutes, chipping away at Alkaloid's lead possession by possession. With the match slipping away, Hosni delivered in the final seconds, finding the net to make it 33-33 and secure a share of the points for the Bitola side.
The result keeps Pelister unbeaten in their title defense so far this season, while Alkaloid will be left to reflect on a four-goal lead that slipped away in the closing stages.
