The ground shook gently across western Macedonia this afternoon. Seismic readings recorded a 2.8-magnitude tremor at 4:10 PM local time, with an epicenter somewhere between Tetovo and Gostivar.
At this intensity, a tremor is typically only felt close to its epicenter — walls don't crack, glasses don't fall off tables, but the floor shifting underfoot is enough to unsettle a household for a few minutes.
