A Fire Is Burning Near Konsko in the Gevgelija Area
The low-vegetation fire near Konsko was among 11 registered overnight nationwide — all successfully extinguished.
A fire near the village of Konsko in the Gevgelija municipality was reported on Sunday by 1 p.m. Three firefighters with one truck responded, the Crisis Management Centre said.
Low vegetation was burning. A later report from the centre said the Konsko fire, along with one in the village of Radusha (Saraj municipality), had been successfully put out.
The Konsko fire was one of 11 registered nationwide overnight between 13 and 14 September, by 7:30 a.m. — including fires near Struga (Tateshi, Veleshta), Veles (Oraovec, where almond trees burned) and Kichevo (Tuin, Zajas). All were extinguished without incident.
