Construction in Macedonia grew by a significant 21.9 percent in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the same period last year, Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski announced.
The growth comes amid visible construction activity across the country — multiple highway sections are underway simultaneously (Skopje-Blace, Kičevo-Ohrid, Prilep-Bitola and others), alongside rail projects, gas pipeline infrastructure, and local municipal projects.
