Nikoloski-Warnes: Macedonia-US Economic Ties Are Strong, Trade Is Growing
The deputy PM and the US chargé d'affaires discussed capital projects and support for reforms.
Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski held a working meeting with Nicole Warnes, chargé d'affaires of the United States in the country. The talks focused on economic cooperation between the two countries and US support for reform processes.
Nikoloski and Warnes agreed that economic ties between the two countries are strong, with trade showing a positive trend. The deputy PM stressed that the government's development policies are focused on economic growth, chiefly through major capital projects driving regional connectivity and integration.
"We discussed ongoing infrastructure projects, economic cooperation and opportunities to further deepen the strategic partnership between our two countries," Nikoloski wrote on social media after the meeting.
Both sides concluded that Macedonia and the US have excellent bilateral relations and a strong readiness to advance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
