244 Witnesses in the 'Pulse' Trial: After 49 Hearings and 1,390 Pieces of Evidence, the Defense Enters a New Phase

After 49 hearings, 1,390 pieces of material evidence and 45 witnesses, the prosecution has rested — the defense in the 'Pulse' case now proposes as many as 244 witnesses, while 'boss Deko' is released from detention on October 3.

The "Pulse" trial is entering a new phase — after 49 hearings held without postponement, 1,390 pieces of material evidence presented, 45 witnesses and five expert witnesses heard, the prosecution has officially rested its case. Now it's the defense's turn, which surprisingly announced it will propose as many as 244 witnesses.

The number significantly exceeds the prosecution's and is already raising questions about how long the next phase of the trial will take. In parallel, one of the key suspects in the case, publicly known as "boss Deko," is released from detention on October 3, a development that further draws public attention to the proceedings.

The high number of witnesses proposed by the defense is being read as a strategy to thoroughly challenge the prosecution's case, built on the extensive material evidence gathered during previous hearings. It remains to be seen how many of the proposed 244 witnesses will actually be heard and how long the new phase of the trial will last.
