Andonovski: Digitalization Is Speeding Up Procedures and Cutting Costs for Businesses

Digital Transformation Minister Stefan Andonovski launched two new electronic services from the State Agriculture Inspectorate (SAI), now available through the national portal uslugi.gov.mk. The new services — a Wine Export Certificate and a Certificate for Agricultural Products, Processed Goods and Commodities — were developed through cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the SAI and the German development agency GIZ.
A Direct Cost for Businesses
SAI Director Angelovski noted that the new services simplify the entire process, shorten the time needed to obtain certificates, eliminate the need for in-person collection at the Inspectorate and reduce the financial costs companies incur when using these services. Minister Andonovski stressed that the speed with which companies can obtain documents is directly tied to their competitiveness and export potential.
Digitalization and Transparency
The minister also highlighted digitalization's important role in increasing transparency and reducing corruption risks. When procedures are digital, the rules are established in advance and equal for everyone, unnecessary direct contact is reduced and a clear electronic trail of institutional action is created. The national portal uslugi.gov.mk is being developed as a single point through which citizens and businesses can access public services simply, securely and without wasting time.
