Sedloski Names 28 for Four Nations League Matches, Four Uncapped Players Included

Four matches in 11 days: Switzerland, Slovenia, Scotland, then a Switzerland rematch. Serafimov out injured.

North Macedonia head coach Goce Sedloski has named an extended 28-player squad for the busiest stretch in the team's recent history — four Nations League B matches in just eleven days.

The cycle opens on 26 September against Switzerland at Todor Proeski Arena in Skopje, followed by an away match in Slovenia on 29 September in Ljubljana, a home game against Scotland on 3 October, and the Switzerland rematch away in Lucerne on 6 October.

Four players are set to make their debuts: Anes Meljici (Shkendija), Gjorge Dzekov (Sileks), Matej Gashtarov (Crvena Zvezda) and Hristijan Maleski (Struga Trim Lum). Defender Nikola Serafimov will miss the matches against Slovenia, Scotland and Switzerland through injury.

"I never had four matches in ten days as a player," Sedloski said, announcing changes in defence and leaving room for the squad to be expanded further. Macedonia is competing in League B for the first time, in a group with Switzerland, Slovenia and Scotland.

In parallel, in women's handball, Ohrid hosts the "Trophy Macedonia" tournament from 24 to 26 September, with Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro taking part.
