Kruševo: The Bypass Is Still at the Tender Stage, New Sports Hall and Paragliding Points Under Way
Mayor Choneski presented the projects — the bypass isn't finished, it's only just gone to tender.
Kruševo mayor Niko Choneski, at a press conference, presented projects under way and planned for the municipality: a new sports hall, an access road to the ski terrain, two new paragliding take-off points, reconstruction of the Kruševo old bazaar, and improved water supply.
The long-awaited bypass around the town, meant to ease traffic and route heavy trucks away from the centre, has not been built yet — it is currently at the tender procedure stage. The access road to the ski terrain, under construction, is meant to connect to it in the future.
A new excavator-loader for the municipal utility company is expected by the end of September, and a new waste-collection vehicle has already been procured. The two new paragliding launch points are in their final stage, which the mayor says will double the capacity of the paragliding centre.
In parallel, work is under way on a General Urban Plan for part of the town and a Detailed Urban Plan for its surrounding zone, along with planning documentation for the municipality's villages and documentation for building sewage systems.
