Passenger Describes Chaotic Return Trip From Ostrog Monastery
A testimony shared on social media describes a multi-hour bus breakdown incident on the way back to Macedonia.
A passenger on an organized trip to Ostrog Monastery shared a detailed account on social media of a troubled return journey that, according to her description, lasted hours and involved multiple incidents.
According to the post, the bus — driven by a driver over 60 years old — attempted to avoid highway congestion and ended up on narrow streets in Albania unsuitable for a bus, to the point that Albanian traffic police had to intervene. The passenger states the bus struck a house's roof during the detour.
A Breakdown Mid-Highway
Later, in the middle of the highway, the vehicle broke down again and began smoking, causing panic among passengers — including young children — who, according to the account, waited roughly five hours for assistance. This is a personal testimony shared by a passenger and has not yet been officially confirmed by authorities or the travel agency involved.
