Gerasimovski: No Censorship Over Barutana in Centar, Only a Technical Fault
The Centar mayor responds to ZNAM's claim that a recording of a debate was cut short.
Centar mayor Goran Gerasimovski rejected claims that the municipality censored a recording of a debate on the Barutana site. He said it was wrong to build a political story from a technical fault.
The ZNAM party had said a recording of a session or public discussion was cut or shortened. Barutana is sensitive land in the inner city, a years-long fight over what is park, what is building and who decides.
Both sides are talking about the same minute of the same file. One says censorship. The other says a technical break. Neither statement closes the argument on its own.
What should be seen
Whether the recording is public in full. Where exactly it breaks. Whether the municipality posted a complete version after the denial.
What remains open
Trust in Centar is also measured by whether residents hear the whole debate. Next is the file, not another press conference. Until it is public, this text keeps both claims side by side.
