Ana and Igor Durlovski Announce Their Biggest Concert Yet, 6 December in Skopje
"Covenant — From the World to the Source" — 100 musicians, new arrangements of film, opera and Macedonian music.
Opera singers and spouses Ana and Igor Durlovski will hold a concert on 6 December at the "Jane Sandanski" sports centre in Skopje, accompanied by 100 Macedonian musicians from the "Ajga" symphony orchestra and friends. The concert is organised by "Password Production," which is billing it as the largest the two singers have staged to date.
The two-hour concert, titled "Covenant — From the World to the Source," will blend film music, opera repertoire and Macedonian musical heritage, all performed in new arrangements developed with arranger Soni Petrovski. Ana Spasovska will conduct.
The two voices, brought together in a joint performance with an orchestra of this size, are being presented by organisers as one of the most significant musical events in the country this year.
